Double Cross combines the best features of both disciplines to deliver a unique, challenging and fun racing environment. Our weekly training series takes things a step further by including a prescribed workout routine during the race to assist in enhancing riders fitness.

The course/workout incorporates single track, barriers, run ups, taped cyclocross/field courses as well as multimile stretches of pavement to help in developing all rider disciplines. Show up to race, or show up for a great workout or just show up for a fun and challenging developmental ride. You will be a stronger rider at the end of this series.
The course workout is specifically designed in conjunction with Zoe Fitness (USAC and USAT certified Coach Zoe) to specifically assist participants with:
Power..Fitness Texas
Endurance..Fitness Texas
Bike Handling..Fitness Texas
& Racing Skills..Fitness Texas
The training series will utilize a traditional, mass start racing format. We may incorporate other formats throughout the series (such as time trials) depending on conditions. The series will be held each week rain or shine but some course features may be bypassed due to weather conditions.
Much of the course will be run at night and some of pavement sections will be on public roadway. Headlights and tail lights are required. Trail LED is one of our sponsors so they will be more than happy to assist with any of your lighting needs. Some rental units will be available $5 per night until sold (Fitness Texas).
Staging/Start/Finish will take place at the Corinth Community Park in Corinth, TX (accessible by rail from Dallas). Course details are still being finalized so maps will be posted soon. We are still determining if we will combine multiple short track events into each evening or if each night will consist of a short track warm up followed by a full length race. Plan on a race start time of 6:00 pm for preliminary races/warm ups and a feature race start of 7:15 pm. Times may adjust in later weeks.
Price = $15  for a night of racing includes a one day license for those who don’t have annual licenses when you register online. $5 refund on site if you have an annual license. On site registration is $15 plus a one day license fee of $5 if needed. Online registrations can be rolled into the following week if you are unable to attend. Online registration will be available soon. We will also offer a full series package at a significant discount to week by week pricing.
