Gym Code of Practice
The Code of Practice has been developed for fitness guide consumers in their dealings with fitness companies in New South Wales. The Code applies to all fitness centers, personal trainers and providers of related services (massage, yoga teacher) in a fitness business in New South Wales who are members of Fitness Australia. The Code provides a level of protection of consumers from economic security, physical security and dispute resolution.

The main objectives of the fitness code are:
- Establish a benchmark for consumer protection in the fitness industry
- Establish standards of practice and business services for financial consumer protection and promote health and wellness .
- Establish procedures for resolving consumer complaints promote a club drug fitness code.
Code Summary ... fitness code
The fitness code is administered by Fitness Australia. Fitness business in New South Wales who become members of Fitness Australia must comply with the Code. Under the fitness code, these providers must gym (in summary):
- show a certificate of membership in Australia local gym or current label
- provide sufficient information to allow consumers to make an informed decision about becoming a member
- No advertising or marketing use FALSE or misleading practices

Complaint resolution procedure ... fitness code
The fitness code of Practice sets fitness clear procedures for handling complaints with a commitment to quickly and fairly resolve any complaints you make.
The first step is to complain directly to the fitness code center, verbally or in writing. When you make a written complaint, the code to receive your comments on the measures taken to resolve the complaint within 10 days of receipt of the complaint states.
If you can not resolve the complaint within 10 days, an acknowledgment of receipt of the complaint will be provided within 7 days with a specified amount of time to get more information on the measures taken.
The fitness code also requires that all employees Fitness familiar with the policies and procedures for handling complaints.
When a complaint can not be resolved, the provider must inform the fitness code of their right to file written complaint to the resource officer, managing fitness Australia.
A complaint can not be resolved quickly by administering the claims agent will be returned to the administration of the fitness code Committee.
The fitness code Administration Committee will hear the complaint and investigate more than necessary. When establishing a violation of the Code, the Committee shall recommend to fitness code Australia that corrective action is taken by the gym.
The fitness code administration committee will notify you of its decision quickly.
