What is the best time to stretch ?
Fitness Column
Many of us have said that we grow the best time to stretch before we exercise . I mean , duh ... do not want to pull a muscle , right? ! Not exactly  Fitness Column.
Think of a muscle , like a piece of taffy . When we exercise , our increases blood flow to the muscles produce heat and , therefore , the expression Fitness Column " for heating. " If you heat the piece of taffy , it is likely that stretch easier and because it is more flexible. If taken directly from the taffy freezer and extensible is, say you'll be there a while. Okay, I know it is not the best analogy because our muscles are not chew and do not live in the freezer, but I hope you can see my point.
So what is the best time to stretch then? If you try to avoid pulling a muscle before an activity, the best time to stretch is after gently heating the muscle. For example Fitness Column, you should go for a light jog , jump rope or do jumping jacks before extensible.
If your goal is to increase its flexibility , the best time to stretch is after heating and after exercise . However, note that , by significantly increasing flexibility can be difficult unless often tense . Gain flexibility may mean that you need to stretch after a long walk to class, then stretch after the long walk back, then stretch again after you walk Founders, then again when you get home them at night. I do not know , but I know that students do not always have time for this! So if this is the case , I suggest to focus solely on maintaining your flexibility and prevent injuries by stretching after heating and after exercise Fitness Column.
